Sherree Valentine Daines

Sherree Valentine Daines has been a leading figure in British art for more than 35 years—an extraordinary achievement that reflects both her talent and enduring appeal. Often described as “the face of modern British impressionism” and praised as one of the UK’s finest figurative artists, her work has been showcased in prestigious venues such as the Tate Gallery, the Barbican Centre, and the Lord’s Cricket Ground Museum. Her paintings are also held in private collections around the world.

Her exceptional skill has attracted an impressive list of collectors, including members of the British Royal Family, John Major, and Ranulph Fiennes. She has also painted portraits of notable figures from across entertainment and sport, such as Joanna Lumley, Michael Parkinson, Rick Stein, Sebastian Coe, and Jonny Wilkinson.

Balancing critical acclaim with widespread popularity, she has received numerous high-profile awards and has been officially recognised as the UK’s leading modern impressionist. A familiar presence on television, she has appeared on programmes including To the Manor Bowen, How the Rich Get Hitched, and This Morning.

Alongside her original works and limited editions, she has published a beautifully illustrated book, Your Days, My Days, now in its second edition, and created a collection of striking bronze sculptures that are highly sought after by collectors. In 2019, she was appointed Artist in Residence for Cunard Line’s Three Queens—Queen Elizabeth, Queen Victoria, and Queen Mary 2.

New Releases

Renowned for capturing elegant social scenes, nostalgic childhood moments, and sunlit seaside settings, few artists evoke the spirit of summer quite like Sherree Valentine Daines. Her latest releases—including Poppy Dream, Daisey Dream, and Rockpool Treasures—continue this tradition, celebrating warmth, light, and the joy of everyday life.

She portrays the serene and playful of children in her paintings with a uniqueness unmatched by others. Shown here in her pieces, Poetry in the Meadow, Joyful Days by the Sea and Summer Meadow.
